Obligation to provide training in radiation protection:Art. R.4451-47 to R.4451-50 of the Labour Code - training to be renewed at least every 3 years

"All workers likely to operate in a supervised or controlled area shall receive radiation protection training organised by their head of establishment.
This training covers the risks related to ionizing radiation and the radiation protection procedures implemented in the establishment. It is adapted to the position occupied and the rules of conduct to be followed in the event of an abnormal situation. It takes into account the specific prevention rules applicable to pregnant women and should make women aware of the need to declare their pregnancy as early as possible. This training must be renewed periodically and, in any case, at least every three years.
In addition, each worker must be given, before any intervention in a controlled area, a notice reminding him of the particular risks associated with the position held or the intervention to be carried out, the applicable safety rules, as well as the instructions to be followed in the event of an abnormal situation."
